At the meeting, the General Director requested Duyen Hai Thermal Power Company to find solutions for enhancing the availability of units, making the coal consumption asymptotic with the electricity price by the end of 2018; and have solutions to improve the coal handling capacity to ensure sufficient coal for operation in the coming time, especially in the dry season in 2019. At the same time, Duyen Hai Thermal Power Company was requested to prepare spare parts, materials and accelerate the remedy of the units.

Along with ensuring technical and economic performance, the environmental protection task also needs to be focused, especially the ash and slag handling work and how to reduce the dust emission during the coal handling process as well as in the management of coal depot. In addition, the construction of the ash discharging system is one of the important tasks that Duyen Hai Thermal Power Company needs to actively coordinate with the TPMB3 to early implement to help remove the ash.
In 2019, the units shall be required to be mobilized at high capacity and the mobilization time is up to 7,000 hours. Therefore, the leaders of the company need to lead more drastically and at the same time, the employees have to wholeheartedly strive in order to achieve the general goal assigned by Vietnam Electricity and Power Generation Corporation 1.
