On the sponsor's side, Mr. Nguyen Tien Chuong – Vice President of EVNGENCO1, Mr. Le Van Quang - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Dang Van Cuong - General Director of DHD attended the Ceremony.
In this sponsorship, EVNGENCO1 and DHD awarded educational grants in Da Mi Commune, Ham Thuan Bac District to 04 schools including: Da Mi 1 Primary School, Da Mi 2 Primary School, Secondary School Da Mi and Da Mi Kindergarten.

Sponsorship gifts include 09 (nine) 55-Inch televisions, 15 desktop computers, 01 water pump and costs for building facilities according to the actual needs of each school. In particular, Da Mi 1 Primary School received 03 televisions (55 Inch ones), 10 sets of desktop computers and the cost of making 01 canopy with an area of 72m2; Da Mi 1 Primary School received 05 sets of desktop computers, 01 water pump, costs for building 01 drilled well and pouring cement concrete in front of the school gate; Da Mi Secondary School received 02 televisions (55 Inch ones) and Da Mi Kindergarten received 04 televisions (55 Inch ones).

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, Principal of Da Mi 1 Primary School, representative of the schools receiving sponsorship gifts, expressed gratitudes to leaders of EVNGENCO1 and DHD for sponsoring education. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa said that schools in Da Mi Commune still have many difficulties in terms of facilities. The gifts given by EVNGENCO1 and DHD are of great significance, contributing to improving educational conditions, while also creating motivation for schools to continue their efforts in teaching and learning.
Speaking at the Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Bay - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee said that Ham Thuan Bac is a mountainous district of Binh Thuan province, so teaching and learning equipment at schools still has many difficulties, especially insufficience of televisions and computers. Over the past many years, EVNGENCO1 and DHD have done well social security work in Ham Thuan Bac District such as supporting funding for COVID-19 epidemic prevention, medical care equipment, and joining hands with the locality for taking care of poor households... This year, EVNGENCO1 and DHD continued to sponsor televisions and computers for educational development at local schools. These are such very practical gifts, as said by Mr. Bay. He hoped that schools would use the equipment for the right purpose and effectively.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Chuong - Vice President of EVNGENCO1 said he was very honored to be present at the Ceremony of awarding educational grants to schools in Da Mi Commune, Ham Thuan Bac District. Mr. Nguyen Tien Chuong also thanked the local government and people for always accompanying DHD during the past time, working together to protect the safety of the Ham Thuan - Da Mi Hydroelectric Project, contributing to ensuring the stability for the National Electricity System as well as supplying abundant water source for Binh Thuan province.
Regarding sponsoring local education, Mr. Nguyen Tien Chuong evaluated it as a humanitarian activity, in accordance with EVNGENCO1's operating criteria to contribute to sharing the difficulties of the locality where the power source projects under EVNGENCO1 are in operation.
