In the morning of December 8th, 2023, Uong Bi Thermal Power Company coordinated with Vietnam - Sweden Hospital to organize a humanitarian blood donation program in response to the EVN Pink Week IX with the message "Ten Thousand Hearts - One heart". This humanitarian blood donation program has 160 employees registered to participate. After the humanitarian blood donation, 156 units of blood were collected and transferred to the blood bank of Vietnam-Sweden Hospital to treat patients.
In the morning of December 14 in Da Nang, Song Tranh Hydropower Company and EVN International Joint Stock Company - 2 units of EVNGENCO1 coordinated with Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC), Da Nang Hospital and other units. The electricity sector unit of EVN in Da Nang organized the EVN Pink Week IX. Nearly 600 employees of member units of the Central Power Corporation in Da Nang and 6 units in the electricity industry of EVN in Da Nang participated in donating blood, of which Song Hydropower Company Tranh has 32 employees and EVN International Joint Stock Company has 13 employees participating in voluntary blood donation in this round.

This is also a social security activity held annually. This activity creates a good image of the electricity industry in the social community and is especially meaningful when the demand for blood often increases at the end of the year. Through this program, EVNGENCO1 officials and employees are expected to contribute hundreds of blood units to local blood banks, contributing to increasing the amount of spare blood for patients. EVNGENCO1 employees always consider blood donation to be a very proud action, sharing their precious blood drops to support sick patients, even critically ill patients to get life. That noble gesture needs to be spread, contributing to creating a beautiful life full of love, and also demonstrating each individual's responsibility to the community.
The volunteer blood donation movement has always received the attention and encouragement of the Corporation's leaders and units, attracting the active participation and responsibility of employees. The 2023 program is still being implemented by units and will end in December.
