Mid-Autumn Festival is called “Tet” in Vietnam, it is considered as a Tet of togetherness and reunion, Tet of children's laughter when they get star lanterns, gifts of cakes... and procession of colorful lights with friends in the moonlight of a full moon night and the sound of drums and lion dances. Etc. But for children in difficult circumstances, it is a luxury.
With the wish of bringing lots of joy, meaningful gifts, at the same time, bringing children in difficult circumstances a warm and meaningful season with encouragement, on September 28, 2023, Ban Ve Hydropower Company coordinated with the People's Committee of Thanh Chuong and Tuong Duong Districts and the Children's Sponsorship Fund of Nghe An Province to bring a "Mid-Autumn Festival of Kindness" to poor children in Ngoc Lam and Thanh Son Communes (of Thanh Chuong District), Yen Na and Luong Minh Communes (of Tuong Duong District).

The program also gave many gifts to the children such as lanterns, star lamps, candy, cash, lion dance... with a total value of 90 million VND. This is an annual activity, also part of a series of community programs of Ban Ve Hydropower Company.
