JICA’s mission visited Da Mi floating solar power plant at Tanh Linh district, Binh Thuan province and worked with DHD’s Leaders at Bao Loc city, Lam Dong province.

At Da Mi solar power plant, personnel from JICA paid attention to operation parameters, cooperation between DHD and National Load Dispatch Centre and the reduction of power generation of solar power plant due to exceeding generation capacity situation in the region.
Working with DHD’s Leaders at the Head office in Bao Loc city, Mr. Ihara Hidenori evaluated that DHD would be one of the most important partners of JICA and wished to continue accompanying DHD in future.
JICA is the main sponsor who supported DHD to implement successfully several rehabilitation and power source development projects.
At the meeting, DHD introduced in detail the implementation progress of Da Mi solar power project and Da Nhim hydropower expansion project.
Mr. Le Van Quang - DHD Chairman, on behalf of DHD’s Leader thanked JICA for sponsoring and supporting DHD to implement several projects including: Ham Thuan - Da Mi Hydropower project (475MW); Da Nhim Rehabilitation Project (160MW); Da Nhim hydropower plant expansion project. Those projects have been put into operation, showed them effectiveness and contributed to socio-economic development in Vietnam. Mr. Le Van Quang hoped JICA continue supporting DHD in investing power source development projects in the near future.
