Collective of Staff and Employees of Dong Nai Hydropower Company
Dong Nai Hydropower Company was established under Decision No. 71/QD-EVN on February 14, 2011 by the Council of Members of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) with the main function of managing and operating two hydropower plants, Dong Nai 3 and Dong Nai 4 (with a total installed capacity of 520 MW). On January 1, 2013, Dong Nai Hydropower Company was transferred to be under the management Electricity of Vietnam's Power Generation Corporation 1 according to Decision No. 3023/QD-BCT dated June 1, 2012 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade regarding the establishment of the parent company - Power Generation Corporation 1 (EVNGENCO1).
With the mission of efficiently managing and exploiting water energy sources to meet the electricity demand for socio-economic development, healthy competition, and environmental friendliness, over the past 12 years since its establishment, Dong Nai Hydropower Company has made transformative changes in its operations and electricity production and business strategies.
Electricity output after 12 years of operation
Over the past 12 years, the cumulative electricity production output of the company has reached over 18 billion kWh, contributing 3,100 billion VND to the state budget. The company has achieved and exceeded the assigned targets for the available coefficient, self-use electricity, labor productivity, and cost reduction. For several years, the company has received commendations and certificates of merit from the Prime Minister, the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, EVN, and local authorities. In 2021, the company was honored to receive the Third-class Labor Medal from the President of Vietnam for its outstanding achievements in contributing to the socialist construction and defense of the country.

In addition to its main task of managing and operating two power plants, the company has carried out service contracts such as training for operation, repair, calibration testing, and construction of power plants, transmission lines, and substations up to 220 kV. As of now, the company has implemented 90 projects spanning across the country. All projects have been highly rated by the investors for their quality, progress, and professionalism in service execution, including the largest solar power plant in the country - Thuan Nam Solar Power Plant (450 MW AC).

After 12 years, the team of employees has matured both in age and profession. The staff of the operational departments have become more proficient in handling tasks and keeping up with the trends of the digital age, in order to further enhance the company's management capabilities. Along with enthusiasm, responsibility, and dedication to their work, they have created a sustainable development brand for Dong Nai Hydropower Company. Today, many engineers have become experts in their fields of responsibility, with numerous technical innovations and scientific projects being highly regarded by EVN. Among them, Dong Nai Hydropower Company is proud to be the only unit representing EVN to participate in the National Electricity Science and Technology Conference 2022 with their product "Building Big Data at Dong Nai Hydropower Company and Isolation Solution to Ensure Information Security".
In addition, with the goal of transforming the company into a modern enterprise and becoming a digital enterprise by 2025, in recent times, Dong Nai Hydropower Company has excellently completed the digital transformation tasks assigned by Power Generation Corporation 1 and the company's own digital transformation tasks.

In addition to its main task of producing electricity, Dong Nai Hydropower Company always pays attention to social welfare activities. Through regular communication activities and organized social welfare activities, the company not only spreads confidence in life but also contributes profound human values to the community, affirming that the company has a responsibility to the community. These activities include: donating to help poor and excellent students in the factory's working area; giving Tet gifts to disadvantaged households and policy households with funds contributed by employees and from the company's welfare fund; participating in blood donation programs when launched in the area; planting more than 22,000 green trees, picking up plastic waste in areas where the company is located, and releasing fish into the Dong Nai 3 and Dong Nai 4 reservoirs every year.
