That is the drastic direction of Mr. Nguyen Tien Khoa, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Head of the Steering Committee for Digital Transformation and Technology Application of the 4th Industrial Revolution in the production and business activities of the Power Generation Corporation 1 at the Steering Committee meeting - Session 02 2022, taking place on June 15, 2022.
For the purpose of assessing the operation situation of the first 6 months of 2022 and thoroughly commanding activities of the last 6 months of 2022, after listening to reports and recommendations of units and Departments/Office, Mr. Nguyen Tien Khoa, Chairman of the Board of Members of EVNGENCO1, Head of the Digital Transformation Steering Committee have thoroughly grasped the direction of the whole Corporation to be determined to well implement the digital transformation roadmap of EVNGENCO1, determined to maintain the position of Group No. 2 in the EVN's ranking of Digital Transformation”. In 2021, EVNGENCO1 was highly appreciated by EVN with ranking in the 2nd group of best digital conversion results among EVN’s member units, next to corporations/units with extensive experience in the field of information technology such as: Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC), Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC), National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) and Information and Communications Technology Company (EVNICT).

At the meeting, the Steering Committee praised and highly appreciated the efforts of the Corporation and its Units in actively and seriously organizing the implementation of digital transformation tasks assigned by EVN and by EVNGENCO1. At the same time, the Units have actively implemented digital transformation solutions to meet requirements of the management and production needs of theirs.
In addition, the Steering Committee encourages all Units to actively explore, research and apply digital transformation initiatives in operation and production uder their management. The implementation of the initiative into specific digital software or applications at the affiliated units must be approved by the Corporation on the basis of reviewing and evaluating the suitability with the digital transformation orientation of the Corporation.
Online meeting at the Units of EVNGENCO1
With such high determination, a number of solutions have been thoroughly understood by the Steering Committee to successfully and exceed the set plan, i.e supplementing and adjusting the Digital Transformation Project and the Implementation Plan for the Digital Transformation in 2022 on the basis of the Roadmap for modernization of IT infrastructure, IT security, and OT in the period 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030 of Power Generation Corporation 1 and its actual power sources; synchronizing the Digital Transformation programs/projects of the Corporation; evaluating the wide applicability within the Corporation; proposing the implementation solutions to ensure efficiency, optimize resources and conform to the Corporation's digital transformation plan/orientation to ensure effective investment and avoid duplication and waste. At the same time, the Steering Committee also directed reviewing the costs and implementation progress and assessing the ability to complete the plan for each digital transformation task.
Discussing with the Units in the Corporation, the Steering Committee also agreed on the requirement to strengthen the learning from each other among the units in the Corporation to study and grasp the useful digital initiatives/applications; then proactively propose to deploy and apply in their units to effectively exploit the products available in the Corporation, without duplicate investment.
